Andre - Master, Construction Enthusiast, and Nature Lover

Hello, I’m Andre, the owner of Hiiumaa Relax Holiday Village. I am a 41-year-old entrepreneurial and versatile individual with roots in Hiiumaa, my mother was born here. Although I was born in Tallinn, I spent my childhood summers on Hiiumaa, which nurtured my deep love for the island.

• An avid traveler, enjoying adventures both in Estonia and abroad

I began my entrepreneurial journey in Hiiumaa in 2011 by opening the auto repair shop Nõmme Auto OÜ, conveniently located near Hiiumaa Relax Holiday Village. Creating a harmonious environment that combines work, nature, and leisure was important to me. Initially, my goal was to build a home for myself. This led to the creation of QBIK, a minimalist and modern house built largely with my own hands, perfectly blending into the surrounding nature. The idea then evolved into the creation of Hiiumaa Relax Holiday Village.

I strive to grow and learn, which has allowed me to complete much of the construction myself. Practical skills and attention to detail give the holiday village buildings their unique quality and character. Whether it’s QBIK or the new cottages, each structure is thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly with the environment and provide guests with a relaxing, nature-inspired experience.

Besides construction and developing the holiday village, I am passionate about motorcycles, having restored and built bikes from scratch. My love for travel and motorcycles has taken me to many corners of the world, but Hiiumaa is the place I always return to. I value the island’s unique peace and tranquility, found only amidst Hiiumaa’s forests and coastal landscapes. Through my holiday village, I aim to offer every guest the chance to experience this special Hiiumaa atmosphere.
